Client: La Troupe Du Jour
Brief: Illustrative poster series for La troupe du jour, a Francophone theatre company in Saskatoon, SK. The client requested a single piece of imagery to represent each show. I came up with the concept of a dinner party to tie the illustrations together, an activity that exemplifies French culture.
Client: Hollow Twin, Vancouver BC
Brief: Hollow Twin, an indie rock band, was interested in working with me because of my reputation for creating retro-style graphics that have a modern feel. We decided to take an illustrative approach with the 3 singles and the 1 LP design. The “Talking in My Sleep” single had a special request to picture a street sign that reads “8th and fear”, a lyric in that particular song. They also wanted to see if I could incorporate a broken mirror effect. To not have the street sign text overpowering the single title and band name, I used a broken mirror/mosaic effect to create the words.
